Monday kicked-off early voting in Texas, which means it’s time to make a plan to vote this election!
Over the past year, The Mach 1 Group has had the incredible opportunity to serve Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson and her excellent team on her 2024 Voter Education Tour.
The Voter Education Tour is a statewide campaign designed to ensure eligible Texans know where to go for official voting information, including vote-by-mail requirements and the acceptable forms of photo ID that voters can present at the polls.
With strategic support, the campaign has been able to reach every county in Texas and amplify the tools available for every eligible Texan to vote.
Secretary Nelson wants to ensure all eligible Texans make a plan to vote on November 5!
Here are a few quick reminders:
- Early voting runs through Nov 1. Registered voters can vote early at any polling place in their county. Early voting locations can be found in the “My Voter Portal” section. Once there, you can enter your name, county, date of birth and zip code to find your registration information and the nearest polling location. You can also contact the early voting clerk for state and county elections for early voting locations near you.
- Election Day is November 5. Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all polling places statewide. For specific questions regarding polling places, consult your county elections office.
- Election night results for statewide ballot propositions will be available through the election night returns portal.
- This information and other important details about voting in Texas are available at VoteTexas.gov, the state’s official online voting resource.
Whether you vote early or brave the long lines on Election Day, make sure you make a plan to vote!
