Award-winning, Austin-based crisis communications and public affairs firm promotes Mary Love, Mollie Young and Alice Claiborne to pivotal leadership positions.
AUSTIN, TX (Feb. 10, 2021) – Award-winning crisis communications and public affairs firm, The Mach 1 Group (Mach 1), announced today three key leaders’ promotions. These advancements reflect an ongoing commitment by Mach 1 to cultivate leadership that matches the firm’s growth.

Mary Love has been promoted to Executive Vice President and will supervise Mach 1’s growing team as part of her new role. “Since her hire four years ago, Mary has mastered the agency and client service models, overseen many accounts, added new business and taken on ever-greater management responsibilities. I’m grateful that she’s accepting a role with even greater responsibility and taking a hand in managing our team,” said McLane.
Mollie Young has been promoted to Vice President, where she will continue to provide impressive client services and account management expertise to the firm’s growing client list. “In addition to her exceptional messaging and strategic abilities, Mollie has shown impressive service and leadership proficiency with the clients she has stewarded for Mach 1, and I know she’ll continue to serve as a tremendous asset,” said McLane.
Alice Claiborne has also been promoted to Vice President. In her new role, Claiborne will manage the firm’s internal marketing, manage significant client accounts and provide her media relations expertise. “Alice’s aptitude for press strategy and crisis management is exceptional. She’s done an excellent job advising Mach 1 clients, and I’m excited to see her grow in that role,” said McLane.
