The Best Advice I Ever Got
In an ode to International Women’s Day, we wanted to capture something that is an important part of The Mach 1 Group’s company culture: mentorship.
In 2013, Katherine McLane founded The Mach 1 Group to help extraordinary organizations and individuals with crises, branding, strategic communications and media relations counsel. Since then, Mach 1 has cultivated a business environment that is built around the principle of mentorship — investing in each employee’s career development and supporting them through major life milestones.
Investing in our team has allowed Mach 1 to grow and employ a diverse group of consultants that includes seasoned public policy experts, press secretaries and former broadcast news reporters and producers.
And so today, we asked some of the women of Mach 1 about the people early in their careers that believed in them, motivated them and mentored them. Because at Mach 1, we know that good advice can be like a seed that will take root. We hope to plant more of those seeds here, in Austin and beyond — so that more women can enjoy blossoming and fulfilling careers.
